About The Position

The MEP Senior Sales Executive will serve as the leader of the sales process, ensuring customer satisfaction by establishing rapport, educating prospective customers on product quality, and facilitating post-sale transitions. This role involves continually engaging with assigned accounts to expand customer relationships, following up on sales bids and leads, and supporting team members to achieve KPIs. The executive will manage sales leads, customer orders, and projects in Salesforce, maintain up-to-date knowledge of competitive products and market conditions, and collaborate with the operations team on technical data and submittals. Handling customer complaints promptly and reporting potential claims are also key responsibilities, along with keeping management informed of market dynamics.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of sales experience within the Industrial, Construction / Service industry (MEP)
  • Demonstrable sales results and an established book of business
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent networking and relationship building skills
  • Ability to prioritize and meet critical deadlines
  • Problem-solving and negotiation aptitude
  • Proven ability to contribute in a fast-paced environment consistently and positively
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customer leaders of all levels (C-level down to entry-level support roles)
  • Ability to work independently and manage personal time, keeping deliverables and deadlines top of mind
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving aptitude
  • Strong writing, phone, and presentation skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in HVAC Sales Highly Preferred
  • Salesforce experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the leader of the sales process to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Establish customer rapport with products and services
  • Educate prospective customers on the superior quality products/services
  • Help facilitate post-sale transitions with service/project members
  • Continually call on assigned accounts to maintain and expand customer relationships
  • Follow-up with existing sales bids and leads
  • Supporting team members and peers to achieve KPIs
  • Effectively and efficiently manage sales leads, customer orders and current projects in Sales Force
  • Maintain current knowledge of competitive products and system characteristics, including knowledge of local competitive pricing and must be able to apply economic consideration: first cost, operating cost, owning cost, to projects on candidate is working
  • Work with operations team to prepare and submit all technical data for approval. Review of all submittments and orders prior to processing
  • Handle customer complaints promptly and effectively and report potential claims
  • Keep management informed of local competition and market conditions
