About The Position

McGraw Kokosing is seeking a Project Scheduler to join their MEP (Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing team) team. The primary responsibility will be supporting the project management team, including self-performed and subcontractor scopes of work. The role involves independently, or with a project team, creating master schedules for projects of varying size and complexity. The Project Scheduler will ensure all stages of the construction process are accurately planned and executed in a timely manner. This role is expected to be on the construction site most days. The ideal candidate will possess excellent time management and organizational skills, a background in construction or engineering, an understanding of construction processes, effective communication skills, and the ability to solve complex problems.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or Business Administration preferred or experience in lieu of degree.
  • 2+ years of experience in Project Scheduling, preferably MEP trades on construction projects.
  • Proficiency in Oracle Primavera Cloud and / or Primavera P6.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Prior experience performing critical path, earned value, and schedule impact analysis is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Development, maintenance, and analysis of a project schedule.
  • Supporting the project management team, including self-performed and subcontractor scopes of work.
  • Independently, or with a project team, create master schedules for projects ranging in size and complexity.
  • Have a firm understanding of construction sequencing and duration – ability to work independently or with a project team to develop schedules ranging from summary level to detailed activity / resource loaded.
  • Ability to work with mixed levels of operations, clients, and engineers to build out master schedules, provide critical schedule analysis, and provide team with suggested adjustments to improve schedule outcome.
  • Participating in project meetings and providing scheduling input, and recommendations.
  • Identify and manage potential risks and develop contingency plans to address them.
