About The Position

Milender White is seeking an experienced MEP Coordinator for their Riverwalk Project in San Diego. This role involves managing commercial and multi-family residential construction projects from preconstruction through commissioning and owner turnover. The ideal candidate will have expertise in GC-led MEP trade coordination, BIM/VDC clash detection and resolution, field QA/QC inspections, commissioning support, and closeout management for large-scale developments. The MEP Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, low-voltage, structural, and architectural systems to ensure adherence to schedule, budget, constructability, and code compliance. This includes leading subcontractor coordination meetings, managing BIM workflows, resolving field conflicts, driving quality standards, and ensuring successful turnover of MEP systems.

Requirements

  • 5+ years managing commercial and multi-family residential construction projects from preconstruction through commissioning and owner turnover.
  • Proven expertise in GC-led MEP trade coordination.
  • Proven expertise in BIM/VDC clash detection and resolution.
  • Proven expertise in field QA/QC inspections.
  • Proven expertise in commissioning support.
  • Proven expertise in closeout management for large-scale podium, wrap, high-rise, mixed-use, and luxury residential developments.
  • Strong background coordinating mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, low-voltage, structural, and architectural systems.
  • Skilled in leading subcontractor coordination meetings.
  • Skilled in managing BIM workflows.
  • Skilled in resolving field conflicts.
  • Skilled in driving quality standards.
  • Skilled in ensuring successful turnover of MEP systems.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit.

Responsibilities
