About The Position

The QA/QC Associate is a full-time onsite role (40–50 hours per week) responsible for executing the client’s Quality Control (QC) Program across various Data Hall Fit-Out projects. These projects involve limited MEP scope, primarily from LV Switchboards to data hall busways. The selected candidate will oversee quality assurance processes, documentation, inspections, and coordination with subcontractors and internal teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, or similar field, or equivalent experience
  • Experience with QA/QC processes in construction or MEP-focused projects.
  • Familiarity with software platforms such as Procore and Cx Alloy.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage documentation and inspection workflows.
  • Willingness to work onsite full-time in Ohio.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Prep/Preconstruction and Initial Phase Meetings with our subcontractors using Procore.
  • Review all QC document deliverables from L1-L3 in the Cx Alloy software platform.
  • Assist the MEP team with L2 equipment inspections (clean walks).
  • Manage and record issues in Cx Alloy, ensuring timely closure by subs/vendors.
  • Set up projects in Cx Alloy, including importing data from spreadsheets.
  • Create Feature of Work (FOW) Matrix based on work schedule.
  • Prepare documents in Procore for Preparatory Phase and Initial Phase meetings.
  • Schedule and perform Prep Meetings with subs, inviting all stakeholders and adding notes to Procore.
  • Schedule and execute Initial Phase meetings and fill out checklists in Procore.
  • Perform receiving inspections with site superintendent and ensure required paperwork and checklists are provided.
  • Review benchmarks and First of Kind (FOK) inspections and perform set-in-place inspections.
  • Confirm that the Installing Contractor fills out all required L2 inspection checklists in Cx Alloy and track all inspection/test documentation and deliverables.
  • Ensure all L3 documentation (Start Up Reports) are provided.
  • Assist MEP team with final L2/L3 document review and confirm completion and accuracy prior to L4 Commissioning.
  • Perform L2 HITT Pre-Energization Inspection and/or clean walks on equipment with the MEP team as needed.
  • Ensure all required labeling including Arc Flash Labels are placed prior to energization.
  • Perform routine examination and checks of ongoing work and equipment placement to ensure quality installation.
  • Ensure that proper levels of protection are maintained during construction for equipment and systems.
  • Ensure all open issues are properly routed to their respective assignees for resolution.
  • Address all issues in a timely manner, allowing 48 hours for closure and providing justification for delays.
  • Manage the Punch List Process with the onsite team and perform weekly (or bi-weekly) status meetings with subs to resolve open items.
  • Physically confirm that all punch list items are corrected in the field.
  • Perform site walkthroughs at least 2 times a day and add QC observations in the Cx Alloy issues tool.
  • Assist with managing OFCI equipment, including ensuring POC contact info is up to date, the receiving address is correct, and vendor communication is maintained.
  • Notify Project Management/Senior Superintendent and OFCI Manager of equipment deliveries.
