About The Position

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical is seeking a full-time QA/QC Manager-Data Center in Lithia Springs, Georgia. This role assists in the development of Quality Assurance standards and continuous improvement evaluations and revisions. The manager will develop a thorough understanding of project specifications, design, equipment, installations, quality standards, and reporting requirements. They will develop project-specific QA/QC plans and ensure their implementation with the Project Team. This role manages the deliverables of all L1, L2, L3 QAQC, Testing, and CX coordination, and works closely with the project CX Team to close out L4/L5 CX activities. The position involves training and evaluating project QA/QC staff, participating in employee onboarding and continued field staff training, and coordinating Quality Reviews with project teams, submitting them to management. The QA/QC Manager will perform onsite inspections of equipment and installations, be responsible for reporting all QA/QC activities through project-specific software and internal communications, and proactively work with the Project Team to ensure all installations are correct the first time. Work will be performed onsite with the Project Team for all inspections and reporting.

Requirements

  • 5-10 year's recent electrical (industrial or commercial) construction experience.
  • Minimum 4 year's experience in QAQC or Commissioning of Electrical Systems.
  • Proficiency with Industry Standard QAQC/CX software.
  • HS Diploma/GED.
  • Detailed understanding of electrical construction standards, equipment, and installations.
  • Through knowledge of construction disciplines.
  • Proficient knowledge of computer programs (EXCEL/WORD).
  • Strong communication (written/verbal), problem-solving, analytical, organizational, and attention to detail skills.
  • Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check, and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without current or future need for employer sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Data Center experience is preferred.
  • Electrical Field experience not required but preferred.

Responsibilities
