The MEP Project Manager will oversee the planning, coordination, execution, and delivery of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems throughout the construction and commissioning of mission-critical data center projects. This individual will work closely with project teams, contractors, consultants, and commissioning personnel to ensure MEP systems are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with the team's quality and operational standards.

Requirements

Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in a professional work environment, including preparing written reports and documentation, conveying information clearly to team members, clients, and stakeholders, and responding appropriately to verbal and written communications related to job duties.
Must be able to walk, stand, stoop, twist, bend, and climb stairs or ladders for extended periods while navigating uneven, unpaved, or obstructed terrain.
Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis.
Must be able to drive between job sites and access all areas of an active construction zone, including raised platforms, scaffolding, and confined spaces.
Must be able to tolerate exposure to outdoor weather conditions, dust, and construction-related noise, vibrations, and odors.
Must be able to communicate effectively with contractors, engineers, and site personnel, and maintain situational awareness in high-activity environments.
Personal protective equipment (PPE), including hard hats, safety vests, hearing protection, and steel-toe boots, is required.
Must have sufficient visual acuity to read drawings, specifications, and safety signage, and to observe site activity.

Nice To Haves

Minimum of 5 years of experience managing MEP systems on commercial, industrial, or mission-critical construction projects.
Strong understanding of mission-critical/data center infrastructure, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and low-voltage systems.
Experience supporting commissioning, startup, and integrated systems testing (IST).
Working knowledge of Methods of Procedure (MOPs) and change management processes within live critical environments.
Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders, contractors, and project priorities in a fast-paced data center environment.
Candidates must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license appropriate for the role and be eligible to operate a motor vehicle in accordance with applicable laws.

Responsibilities

Manage all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and low-voltage scopes from construction through commissioning and project turnover.
Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful execution of MEP systems while maintaining project schedule, budget, quality, and safety objectives.
Support commissioning activities, including startup, functional testing, integrated systems testing (IST), and turnover to operations.
Review, develop, and execute Method of Procedure (MOP) documentation to ensure critical work is performed safely and without disruption to mission-critical operations.
Monitor project progress, resolve technical issues, and provide regular updates to project leadership while ensuring compliance with the team standards and industry best practices.
