About The Position

The MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) Manager provides technical expertise and leadership in planning, design, implementation, and support of conventional building systems, including HVAC, hydronic, domestic water, power distribution, lighting, storm and sanitary piping, and emergency power systems. The role also provides technical expertise, day-to-day support, scheduling, and coordination for the project delivery team.

Requirements

• Eight to ten years of experience in MEP commercial construction management.
• Be open to periodic travel.

Nice To Haves

• A bachelor's degree in a construction-related field is preferred.
• Experience with computer-based scheduling programs such as Primavera or ASTA.
• Knowledge of Word, Excel, and project management systems such as Viewpoint or Expedition.

Responsibilities

• Apply familiarity with complex MEP building systems.
• Manage MEP construction budgets, contract administration, and the change order management process.
• Work with the site management team to develop schedules, plan phasing, and coordinate logistics.
• Understand timetable processes.
• Be accountable for project completion.
• Facilitate progress meetings and communications with the client, design team, and subcontractor partners.
• Implement solutions to project challenges.
• Mentor, model, and develop a strong team mindset throughout the project.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
