About The Position

Prepare detailed drawings and models for HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, fire alarm, and electrical systems based on redline markups. Apply and maintain Thorson Baker & Associates, Inc. AutoCAD and Revit standards throughout all drafting and modeling work. Review and back-check completed work to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with project requirements and company standards. Collaborate directly with engineers to develop, coordinate, and revise project drawings and models. Provide general project support, including copying, scanning, filing, printing, emailing, and organizing project plans and documents for shipment.

Requirements

• Associate of Applied Science degree in Computer Drafting and Design, or a minimum of three years of professional experience using AutoCAD and/or Revit.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Familiarity with drafting and modeling practices, including the ability to interpret and incorporate markups and convert redline drawings into finalized documents.
• Demonstrates a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to complete assigned responsibilities efficiently and accurately.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
