Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Florida Driver's License within 30 days of hire
Daily access to a reliable, insured vehicle
Two years of related work experience
One year of experience working with children and families
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Nice To Haves

Experience in social services
Experience working with community organizations or partners
Volunteer management or community outreach experience

Responsibilities

Build and maintain relationships with schools, community organizations, businesses, and local partners
Develop and implement volunteer recruitment strategies
Recruit, screen, onboard, train, and support volunteers
Match volunteers with meaningful opportunities
Promote volunteer programs through community outreach and networking
Serve as the primary point of contact for volunteer inquiries
Coordinate volunteer activities, projects, and special events
Track volunteer participation, hours, and program outcomes
Maintain accurate records, reports, and volunteer databases
Create volunteer training materials and newsletters
Facilitate ongoing communication with school staff, community partners, and CHS team members
Partner with program staff to identify volunteer needs
Contribute to a positive and engaging work environment
Assist with special projects and organizational initiatives
Represent CHS and our values in every interaction
