About The Position

The Site Director leads one Ezekiel Ministries Group Mentoring Site that meets after school, ensuring a safe, joyful, and Christ-centered environment where children grow in faith, identity, relationships and empowerment. The site director will have a portfolio of mentors and volunteers to engage and coach to ensure that both the 1:1 and group mentoring components of the site are thriving. This salaried team lead role oversees all aspects of a Group Mentoring Site—its people, program quality, and community relationships. The Site Director leads by equipping and empowering others to carry out the daily work of ministry, ensuring program excellence through coaching, accountability, and clear systems rather than direct execution. The site director leads the creation, implementation and growth of the network of mentoring relationships for every child in the cohort. The role manages staff and volunteers, engages families and partners, and ensures alignment with Ezekiel’s mission. Has authority to hire, evaluate, and, when needed, dismiss site staff and volunteers in coordination with the Program Director and HR.

Requirements

  • 2+ years in child/youth leadership or ministry.
  • Strong administrative, relational, and communication skills.
  • Understanding of trauma-informed care (TBRI) and youth development.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, coach, and develop site staff and volunteers.
  • Model Christ-centered leadership, unity, and prayerful culture.
  • Empower staff and volunteers to take ownership of their roles, balancing hands-on support with strategic leadership.
  • Ensure policies and behavioral standards are upheld.
  • Ensure daily group mentoring and enrichment activities are well-executed through effective planning, delegation, and oversight.
  • Maintain safety, structure, and engagement for every child.
  • Build strong relationships with parents, schools, and churches.
  • Recruit and train volunteers and new families.
  • Represent Ezekiel Ministries at church and community events.
  • Conduct interviews with interested mentors and volunteers.
  • Follow up monthly with mentors, volunteers, parents and mentees regarding their mentoring experience.
  • Join in on Mentor & Me Events quarterly.
  • Lead a mentor/volunteer training for new mentors and volunteers at your site monthly.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and share site updates.
  • Provide stories and data for development and communications.
  • Partner with leadership to meet site and ministry goals.
