The Mentor Coach Manager will conduct center and family childcare site observations to promote developmentally appropriate practices, sound program approaches to delivery of services, and impart culturally and linguistically appropriate beliefs. This role involves conducting observations and collaborating to develop individualized learning plans that support professional development goals, using CLASS to measure performance and design learning strategies to enhance teaching skills. The position provides one-to-one mentor coaching strategies for improving teacher-child interactions and working with diverse groups of children. The Mentor Coach Manager will implement research-based coaching strategies, engage in dialogue and problem-solving using reflective inquiry, and use small group meetings to discuss curriculum planning, assessment, and individualization. This role also assists with the collection and gathering of child progress data, tracks coursework documentation, and provides training, technical assistance, and guidance to staff on early learning and child development topics. Additionally, the Mentor Coach Manager will work with the management team on program assessments, quality improvement, and implement the Child Development and Wellness program. The role involves developing and documenting professional development plans, providing intensive coaching to identified staff, and ensuring children are supervised at all times. Engagement with parents and attendance at various meetings and trainings are also key responsibilities. The position requires reporting suspected child abuse and neglect and performing other duties as assigned.
