About The Position

Merakey is seeking a Mental Health Worker to join their team in their Montgomery County, Colmar, PA residential location. The Mental Health Worker will interact with and support individuals in various settings, including community, family or individual homes, generic community settings, and Adult Training Facilities (ATF). They will provide personal care, instruction, guidance, mentoring, companionship, and support according to the individual's Person-Centered Plan/Individual Support Plan (ISP), often across a 24-hour period. The role aims to provide a level of care that enhances the health, safety, dignity, and contentment of every consumer served.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must have a valid and clean driver’s license.
  • Must be able to work full-time, 1st shift 8am-4pm with a rotation of weekends.

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year experience working in the Behavioral Health field/ population in a group home or a residential facility setting preferred.
