Requirements

High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE), or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required
Successful completion of one of the following three options: (1) Obtain a diploma/certificate from an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program; (2) Obtain a diploma/certificate from an accredited Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) program; or (3) Nursing Fundamental courses from an accredited clinical RN or LVN program (typically done in the 1st semester) required
Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Mental Health Worker is required.
Positions in Labor & Delivery require a minimum of two (2) years of experience.
BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
One of the following is required: CNA - State of California Certified Nursing Assistant Certification (active or inactive status is acceptable)
One of the following is required: EMT - Emergency Medical Technician Certification issued by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians Certification issued by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (active or inactive status is acceptable)
One of the following is required: RN or LVN Student/Graduate

Nice To Haves

Current enrollment in an accredited school of Nursing for RN or LVN program preferred

Responsibilities

Assist with direct patient care, including vital signs, hygiene, mobility, feeding, intake/output, and other daily activities.
Support nurses and providers in patient monitoring, documentation, and coordination to ensure seamless patient care.
Maintain cleanliness and readiness of patient rooms, equipment, and supplies to promote a safe and organized environment.
Provide clerical and administrative support, facilitating communication within the care team.
Assist in the delivery of daily care under the supervision of the Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse.
Provide direct patient care and assistance with basic life skills to our patients.
