About The Position

This position provides paraprofessional support work involving the direct care and rehabilitation of patients with severe and persistent mental illness. Responsibilities include implementing programs, treatment, and education for these individuals, as well as providing direct patient care. The role is within Riverview Psychiatric Center, a facility focused on best practice, treatment, education, and research for individuals with serious, persistent mental illness and co-occurring substance use disorders.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.

  • Registered on the State of Maine’s CNA register.
