About The Position

Centurion is seeking a full-time Mental Health Unit Director to join their team at Logan Correctional Center in Lincoln, Illinois. This facility serves female and transgender individuals and is the state's female intake, reception, and classification center. The role involves providing administrative guidance, direct supervision, and training to clinical and administrative staff. The Director will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate clinical needs and deliver quality behavioral/mental health services within a correctional setting. Responsibilities include developing and implementing treatment schedules, participating in hiring processes, performance evaluations, disciplinary procedures, and ensuring compliance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Requirements

IL Licensed Psychologist
Must maintain current tuberculosis documentation
Must maintain active CPR/AED certification
Must be able to pass background investigation
Must be able to obtain agency security clearance where applicable

Nice To Haves

Supervisory experience in a state or county corrections facility
Behavioral/mental health experience in a correctional and/or mental health residential treatment unit environment
