About The Position

Athena Care has been providing high-quality, accessible mental health care for over twenty years. We are an insurance-based practice expanding across Tennessee and are seeking a therapist near Nashville to join our team. We offer a comprehensive range of services including psychological testing, IOP/PHP, Spravato/IM Ketamine, TMS, psychotherapy, group therapy, and general psychiatry. This integrated approach ensures patients receive comprehensive care and clinicians benefit from unique and interesting colleagues.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
• Full licensure in Tennessee (LPC-MHSP, LCSW, or LMFT) and the ability to practice independently.
• Comfortable with EMR systems and standard tech tools.
• HIPAA-savvy and committed to ethical, patient-centered practice.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience providing mental health services.
• BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient therapy to adults, adolescents, and/or children navigating behavioral health challenges.
• Conduct assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in our EMR system.
• Collaborate regularly with the broader care team.
• Maintain licensure and practice ethically.
• Engage as a thoughtful and engaged member of the team.
