About The Position

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Master's Level Therapist to join our Adult Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). This position provides clinical services to adults experiencing serious and persistent mental illness (SMI), including mood disorders, psychotic disorders, trauma-related disorders, and co-occurring conditions. The therapist will facilitate therapeutic groups, provide individual counseling, complete clinical assessments, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team to support clients in achieving stabilization and recovery goals. Our Adult Partial Hospitalization Program provides intensive, structured treatment for adults requiring a higher level of care than traditional outpatient services. Through a combination of individual therapy, group therapy, psychiatric services, and coordinated treatment planning, we help individuals manage symptoms, develop coping skills, and build pathways toward lasting recovery. Requirements

Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related behavioral health field.
Eligibility for licensure or current licensure in the state of Pennsylvania (LPC, LSW, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent).
Experience providing mental health treatment to adults.
Knowledge of serious mental illness (SMI), crisis intervention, and recovery-oriented care.
Strong clinical assessment, group facilitation, and documentation skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Ability to engage individuals with complex behavioral health needs.
Strong therapeutic communication and relationship-building skills.
Effective group facilitation and classroom management skills.
Ability to recognize and respond appropriately to psychiatric crises.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple client needs simultaneously.
Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and clinical documentation requirements.

Nice To Haves

Experience in a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), inpatient behavioral health setting, or community mental health environment.
Experience working with adults diagnosed with schizophrenia spectrum disorders, bipolar disorder, major depressive disorder, and co-occurring disorders.
Training in CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Informed Care, or other evidence-based treatment modalities.

Responsibilities

Facilitate multiple psychotherapy and psychoeducational groups daily using evidence-based interventions.
Provide individual therapy sessions to clients enrolled in the Partial Hospitalization Program.
Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and assist with intake evaluations.
Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans.
Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries.
Monitor client progress and assess risk related to safety concerns, including suicidal ideation, self-harm, and psychiatric decompensation.
Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings and case consultations.
Coordinate care with psychiatrists, nurses, case managers, community providers, family members, and other supports as appropriate.
Provide crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing acute psychiatric symptoms.
Assist with discharge planning and coordination of community resources and ongoing treatment services.
Maintain compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and professional ethical standards.
