About The Position
Wood Violet Recovery is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join their behavioral health team. This is a full-time position working with adults receiving treatment for mental health conditions, substance use disorders, and co-occurring diagnoses. The role involves providing group and individual therapy, collaborating with an interdisciplinary treatment team, and assisting clients in their recovery journey. The position is suited for clinicians who thrive in a structured environment with strong team support and wish to make a significant impact. The program is voluntary, residential, and electronics-friendly, emphasizing client autonomy, real-world connection, and long-term recovery. Located near Madison, the role utilizes evidence-based therapy and treatment planning.
Requirements
- Active Wisconsin LPC, LCSW, or LMFT (required).
- 1+ year experience working with individuals in behavioral health.
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screen.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual counseling to clients in recovery and/or mental health treatment.
- Participate in treatment planning and collaborate with our interdisciplinary team.
- Lead therapeutic and psychoeducational groups.
- Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation.
