Flourishing Peaceful Families is a dedicated provider of therapeutic, case management, and family support services. Our mission is to provide high-quality and effective services, aimed at helping children, families, and communities flourish. We are dedicated to ending Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) by addressing the multi-generational challenges of childhood adversity. Our objective is to nurture children, youth, and caregivers to keep families healthy and intact. As a Therapist at Flourishing Peaceful Families, you will play a crucial role in providing non-medical therapeutic services to individuals, children, and families. We are committed to creating a supportive and collaborative work environment where therapists can thrive and make a positive impact on the lives of those we serve.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in counseling, social work, or similar field
- Proven experience in providing therapy services to individuals, children, and families.
- Current and unrestricted state licensure or certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Knowledge of relevant ethical and legal standards.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Compassionate and client-centered approach to service delivery.

Responsibilities
- Perform intake assessments
- Provide mental health therapy for individuals, couples, families, and children
- Create individualized treatment plans for each client
- Use evidence-based treatment methods to facilitate group and individual treatments
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient information and treatment plan in a timely manner.
- Perform regular wellness checks
- Adhere to all facility and licensing standards
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards in therapy practice, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
- Collaborate with other team members and professionals to ensure comprehensive and holistic care for clients.
- Participate in regular team meetings and professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.
