About The Position

The Mental Health Therapist - Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) provides intensive outpatient therapy services for individuals with substance use disorders (SUDs) and co-occurring mental health conditions, in accordance with NMAC and ASAM standards for Level 2.1 care. Using evidence-based models such as the Matrix Model, the therapist delivers structured, clinically driven programming that includes individual, group and family therapy for a minimum of 9 to 19 hours per week for adults and 6 to 19 hours for adolescents, typically 3 to 4 days per week, with up to 3 hours of service per day. Services are trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and recovery oriented.

Requirements

Master's degree in a behavioral health field.
Licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) in the state of New Mexico.
Experience working with substance use disorders (SUDs) and co-occurring mental health conditions.
Proficiency in evidence-based models such as the Matrix Model.
Ability to provide trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and recovery-oriented services.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP).
