About The Position

Provides mental health services to children, adolescents, and families with serious developmental, emotional, and behavioral problems. We are looking for a per diem Mental Health Therapist to work in PUC. In our Psychiatric Urgent Care Clinic, you would have the opportunity to be a part of our innovative care model to respond to patients in crisis. Come join our multidisciplinary team of dedicated professionals to make a difference in our community! This position will require working evening shifts as well as Saturdays/Sundays.

Requirements

Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field.
Minimum two years experience in providing direct treatment services to children and families.
Licensed as a Mental Health Professional in Washington State in appropriate field according to degree (e.g., LICSW, LMFT).
Must obtain, and maintain in good standing, medical or allied health professional staff privileges within 90 days of employment.
Individuals are required to submit a copy of a receipt directly to Human Resources (electronically) confirming they have completed the fingerprinting process as outlined by the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) prior to the start of employment.

Nice To Haves

Minority Mental Health Specialist designation.
Experience with multi-system involved children with severe behavioral problems and/or developmental disabilities.
Experience providing comprehensive intake evaluations with multi-axial diagnoses.
Experience with evidence based practice.
Experience with the King County MHP and WA State Mental Health WACs.
