About The Position

Concerted Care Group is seeking skilled, compassionate therapists to join their team in making a lasting impact. They specialize in comprehensive, evidence-based mental health treatment, delivered through a collaborative, interdisciplinary model that supports both patients and clinicians. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will be at the center of patient care—building strong therapeutic relationships and delivering high-quality, evidence-based treatment. You’ll lead therapy groups, facilitate individual and family sessions, and contribute to integrated treatment plans within their innovative OTP, IOP, Mental Health, and OP program.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of direct clinical experience providing mental health treatment.
  • Master’s degree in counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field.
  • Active independent licensure: LCSW or LCPC.
  • Strong working knowledge of CBT, DBT, ACT, and trauma-informed care.
  • Comfort using Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
  • Commitment to ethical, patient-centered care and professional growth.

Nice To Haves

  • EMDR experience is highly preferred.
  • The ideal candidate is comfortable working with both adolescents and adults.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual and group psychotherapy for adults in our OTP program.
  • Work in person at our Frederick, MD location.
  • Develop and maintain person-centered, trauma-informed treatment plans.
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and level-of-care determinations.
  • Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment approaches, and symptom management to support insight and empowerment.
  • Design and deliver engaging psychoeducational and skills groups focused on emotional regulation, coping skills, and mental wellness.
  • Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, nurses, PRP, and fellow therapists to provide integrated mental health care.
  • Participate in treatment team meetings, case consultations, and discharge planning.
  • Coordinate care with families, referral sources, and external providers as appropriate.
  • Demonstrates commitment to excellent patient care, which is measured through clinical outcomes, such as patient retention, attendance and successful program completion.
  • Complete clinical documentation accurately and timely.
