About The Position

Our nationally accredited team is currently seeking an Independent Contractor (1099) mental health therapist/counselor to provide therapy services for adolescents and adults in individual treatment! This position focuses on providing group therapy for pre-adolescent clients. Our Mission: At Transitions Counseling and Consulting, we provide accessible, skilled mental health services for children, teenagers, and adults at convenient locations throughout Arizona and Texas. Our mission is to provide safe, high-quality mental health services in an ethical environment that embraces diversity; and to train the next generation of therapists to do so competently and confidently.

Requirements

• Must be licensed in Arizona as an LAC, LMSW, LAMFT, LPC, LCSW, or LMFT.
• Provide current level one fingerprint clearance card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety and renew as applicable.
• Continuously maintain active cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and first aid certification.
• Provide your own malpractice insurance.
• Provide your own equipment (laptop /phone).
• Have a dedicated office space when providing telehealth services remotely.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy services for adolescents and adults in individual treatment.
• Provide group therapy for pre-adolescent clients.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans.
• Provide individual therapy to teens and adults using evidence-based practices to address depression, anxiety, and social challenges.
• Work closely with other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for your clients.
• Guide and mentor advanced graduate interns.
