About The Position
Transitional Services for New York, Inc. (TSINY) is a not-for-profit, community-based mental health organization in New York City dedicated to providing rehabilitative services that enhance the lives of individuals recovering from mental illness and support their transition to greater independence. TSINY operates a New York State licensed outpatient mental health clinic in Jamaica, Queens, offering a wide array of services including therapy and medication management. The clinic aims to provide treatment that fosters recovery, rehabilitation, and a fulfilling life for adults (18+) residing in New York City. Services are provided to individuals experiencing issues such as depression, anxiety, bereavement, schizophrenia, relational conflict, and other traumatic issues. Modalities include short-term and long-term therapy, family therapy, and group therapy. The therapeutic staff also provides crisis intervention, advocacy, linkage, and referrals. Nursing staff offer health monitoring, injections, and blood draws. Assessments and referrals for more intensive services are also available. Family members under 18 may be involved in family sessions.
Requirements
- Must be a Licensed professional including (LCSW, LMSW, LMHC, LCSW-R)
- Social Work or Mental Health Counselor background
