About The Position

Presbyterian Medical Services (PMS) is seeking compassionate and dedicated Remote Mental Health Therapists to join our Behavioral Health team. In this 100% remote role, you will provide high-quality behavioral health services through telehealth, including assessments, treatment planning, individual, family, couples, and group counseling, crisis intervention, and care coordination. Working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team, you will help clients achieve meaningful progress and improved well-being while expanding access to behavioral health services across the communities we serve. This opportunity is designed for experienced, independently licensed clinicians who are passionate about delivering exceptional behavioral health care in a virtual setting.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field.
• Independent New Mexico State licensure as a Master's level mental health counselor or social worker is required, e.g., LPC, LPCC, LISW, LCSW, LMFT, or LPAT. Must have by date of hire and maintain current throughout employment.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Commitment to providing compassionate, culturally responsive, client-centered care.
• Must reside in New Mexico or Texas.

Nice To Haves

• Experience providing outpatient behavioral health services.
• Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Navajo skills.
• Experience working with diverse populations and community-based services.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments and screenings through telehealth.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide individual, family, couples, and group counseling services.
• Deliver crisis intervention and support clients through challenging situations.
• Coordinate care with providers, family members, community resources, and support systems.
• Monitor client progress and maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure quality, client-centered care.
• Support client wellness through education, outreach, and continuity of care efforts.
