We're looking for a compassionate, motivated Licensed Professional Counselor-In-Training (LPC-IT) to join our clinical team. This is an excellent opportunity for a developing clinician who wants to gain meaningful experience providing therapy to adults with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders while receiving supervision from experienced professionals as you work toward independent licensure. Located in the rolling hills of southwest Wisconsin, our residential treatment center provides evidence-based care in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Every day, you'll make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients while continuing to grow your clinical skills.
Requirements
- Active Wisconsin LPC-IT license (required).
- Master's degree in Counseling or a closely related field
- Passion for helping individuals experiencing substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders
- Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Responsibilities
- Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions
- Complete biopsychosocial assessments and participate in treatment planning
- Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers, and the interdisciplinary treatment team
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment interventions as appropriate
- Help create a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment
- Receive clinical supervision and continue developing your therapeutic skills
