About The Position

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health is seeking dedicated, energetic professionals with a passion for empowering children and adolescents for their Devereux Pennsylvania Children’s Services team. This role involves working with children with challenging behaviors or behavioral health diagnoses as part of a multi-disciplinary team that emphasizes applied behavior analysis and positive behavior supports. The position offers on-the-spot interviews during a job fair event.

Requirements

  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or HS Diploma/GED with 2 years of experience working with youth in a direct care setting
  • Education obtained outside of the United States must have a qualified education evaluation completed (WES preferred).
  • Empathetic, a team player, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, energetic, creative, understand the theories of behavior management and positive reinforcement
  • Possess a valid license.
  • Significant amounts of walking, sitting, and standing.
  • Some lifting and/or managing resistance required related to applying physical intervention techniques upwards of 75-100 lbs. or more.
  • Some repetitive wrist/hand movements, normal hearing and vision.
  • Occasional use of computers and office equipment.
  • Occasional driving of Devereux vehicles for business purposes.
