Minden Medical Center is seeking a Full-Time Mental Health Technician (MHT) for our night shift to support patients in a safe, respectful setting where compassionate care matters. This onsite, entry-level role helps the care team maintain a structured environment and respond to patient needs with professionalism and calm.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Strong communication, empathy, sound judgment, and a safety-first mindset
Nice To Haves
- C.N.A. certification
- Experience with psychiatric and/or geriatric patients
Responsibilities
- Assisting patients with daily activities
- Observing and documenting behaviors
- Supporting therapeutic programming
- Communicating updates to the multidisciplinary team
- Helping with de-escalation and crisis response
