About The Position
Facilitates maintenance of the therapeutic environment in the psychiatric unit and assists patients with daily living activities. Establishes a therapeutic relationship with assigned patients. Takes vital signs, weighs patients, and collects routine specimens. Attends and participates in group therapy, in-service education, and staff meetings. Under the direction of a licensed nurse, performs service-related activities in support of patient care and the patient care unit. Provides direct and indirect care to assigned patients, primarily focusing on hygiene, activities of daily living, vital signs, and recreational activities.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- BLS.
