About The Position
Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a Mental Health Technician in our Behavioral Health Unit at Baptist Medical Center in Downton Jacksonville. This is a PRN Nights opportunity. 7:00pm-7:00am. Requirements
- Less than 1 year Mental Health Technician Experience
- Nursing Assistant Experience
- Corpsman Experience
- High School Diploma (required)
- CPI Certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
Nice To Haves
- Associate of Science (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Provides care to patients in a manner that considers safety, comfort, and therapeutic environment under the direction of the Registered Nurse.
- Documents observations on assigned patients.
- Communicates appropriate information regarding patient's condition.
- Assists with patient education groups, total milieu supervision, assists with admissions/discharges as assigned.
