Mental Health Technician
About The Position
Merakey is seeking Mental Health Technicians to join its team in the Germantown section of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The role provides counseling to individual clients; implements and monitors client treatment; and monitors individual and group social skills. Technicians lead or co-lead recreational groups, assist with and teach daily living activities, and monitor clients as they complete those activities. They accompany and monitor clients on community trips, engage clients in social and leisure activities, help assure clients’ health and safety, and maintain accurate and adequate records. The position is on the first shift and includes weekends. Pay is offered up to $19.63 with selection of enhanced pay.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- One year of experience working in mental or behavioral health.
- Valid driver's license.
Responsibilities
