About The Position
The Mental Health Technician assists licensed nursing staff in providing direct patient care under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse and within the defined scope of practice. The technician is expected to demonstrate the organization’s F.I.R.S.T. values: Friendliness, Innovation, Respect, Service, and Trust. The role includes supporting patients across the life span, from neonates and infants through geriatrics, by applying age-specific knowledge of growth and development when planning and implementing care. Requirements
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds independently.
