About The Position

Are you passionate about helping children, adolescents, and families through compassionate, evidence-based care? We are seeking a Master's-Level Mental Health Technician – Clinical Assessment to support our growing Behavioral Therapy Center. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside a multidisciplinary team of clinicians and specialists while contributing to clinical assessments, autism evaluations, counseling services, and care coordination.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Behavioral Health, Education, or a related human services field.
• At least two years of supervisory experience in a behavioral health, counseling, psychology, developmental disabilities, social work, or related clinical setting.
• Knowledge of child development, behavioral health, and autism spectrum disorders.
• Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with families, clinicians, schools, and community partners.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment.
• Ability to maintain the highest standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical practice.

Nice To Haves

• Working with children, adolescents, individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, or behavioral health needs.
• Conducting clinical interviews, behavioral observations, and standardized assessments.
• Experience with autism assessment tools such as ADOS-2, ADI-R, and ASRS.

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical interviews, behavioral observations, and standardized assessments.
• Administer, score, and document assessment instruments under established guidelines.
• Assist with gathering developmental, behavioral, social-emotional, and adaptive functioning information.
• Collaborate with licensed clinicians regarding assessment findings and clinical recommendations.
• Participate in interdisciplinary autism evaluations and diagnostic assessment processes.
• Collect and integrate developmental and clinical data to support evaluation teams.
• Contribute objective observations and assessment information during case consultations.
• Support family feedback and care planning processes.
• Maintain a small caseload when assigned.
• Provide counseling services within your education, credentials, and scope of practice.
• Develop and maintain treatment plans, progress notes, assessments, and related documentation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary providers and make referrals when appropriate.
• Assist with front-desk and client service functions as needed.
• Support scheduling, appointment coordination, and communication with families.
• Maintain organized clinical and administrative records.
• Contribute to the efficient operation of the Behavioral Therapy Center.
