This position involves supporting and implementing the Mission, Vision, and Core Values of Beacon Behavioral Health, and upholding exceptional customer service standards. The role requires assisting in maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment, monitoring patient compliance with program rules, and providing support during instances of unacceptable patient behavior. Documentation of patient movements, significant occurrences, observed behavior, vital signs, and findings is crucial. The technician will also recognize and assist with therapeutic interventions, support clinicians with patient care tasks, and perform various clerical duties for different departments. Flexibility, problem-solving, efficiency, and the ability to manage high-stress situations are essential. The role demands constructive interaction with stress, appropriate customer etiquette, and the ability to accept feedback and respond to direction. Punctuality and adherence to the attendance policy are required. A warm, empathetic attitude, respect for others, and high personal integrity are expected. The ability to work under supervision with demanding patients, follow instructions, and maintain Healthcare Provider CPR and Crisis Intervention Prevention (CPI) certification is necessary. Effective English communication skills are required, along with the physical ability to stand for long intervals and participate in physical restraint of patients when necessary.
