About The Position

This position will be located at Middleton Group Home in Dothan, Alabama
12 HOUR PITMAN SCHEDULE 7AM - 7PM
WEEK I: TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, SATURDAY, SUNDAY
WEEK II: MONDAY, THURSDAY, FRIDAY

Requirements

• HS Diploma/GED
• Good MVR, willing to submit to motor vehicle report check
• Must meet insurability requirements to drive a system vehicle (21 years of age).
• Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
• Must obtain CPR and MAC certification upon hire

Nice To Haves

• Prefer previous experience providing patient care in a mental health or substance abuse treatment environment

Responsibilities

• Various activities to meet consumer needs including, but not limited to: meal preparation, cleaning of the facility, assisting with daily tasks, etc.
• Teaching group and individual basic living skills
• Providing transportation using system vehicle when required by the program
• Ensure efficient operation of the facility
• Assisting with medication using the MAC certification under nurse supervision
• Completing required documentation using an electronic health record system
