About The Position
This position will be located at our Cottonwood Care Home in Ashford, Alabama. The schedule involves rotating shifts: Week 1: Monday, Thursday, Friday 7am - 7pm, and Week 2: Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday 7am - 7pm. The base pay is $14.00/hr.
Requirements
- HS Diploma/GED
- Must be 21 years or older
- Good MVR
- Willing to submit to motor vehicle report check
- Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Must obtain CPR and MAC certification upon hire
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience providing patient care in a mental health or substance abuse treatment environment
Responsibilities
- Various activities to meet consumer needs including, but not limited to: meal preparation, cleaning of the facility, assisting with daily tasks, etc.
- Teaching group and individual basic living skills
- Providing transportation using system vehicle when required by the program
- Ensure efficient operation of the facility
- Assisting with medication using the MAC certification under nurse supervision
- Completing required documentation using an electronic health record system
