We have an exciting opportunity for an Adult outpatient Mental Health Supervisor to join our team of talented professionals. We have a market-based compensation structure. The estimated salary for this position will vary based on a candidate's transferable work experience and qualifications. Requirements

  • Candidates for the position must possess a master’s degree in social work, Psychology or Counseling
  • A professional license from the state of Michigan-LMSW, LLP or LPC.
  • All state licensure must continually remain active, in effect, and free from disciplinary action.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience treating adults with mental health and/or substance use disorders is required.
  • Must demonstrate job experience and competence in individual, family and group mental health and/or substance abuse treatment.
  • Demonstrate competence in working in a collaborative way with clients and community, cultural competence, good organizational skills, and the ability to work both independently and as a team member.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Must have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Must have excellent organizational and attention to detail skills in order to track and prepare data.
  • Must have the ability to appropriately handle crisis situations.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a community mental health setting and knowledge of community resources is preferred.
  • Additional evening and/or weekend hours may be required based on program needs.

Responsibilities

  • The Supervisor will be responsible for all administrative and clinical functioning of the program.
  • This shall include all the functions necessary for the delivery of services to the institutions and client populations of the community served by the program.
