About The Position

Amae Health is hiring a full-time Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialist (MHRS) for its Los Angeles Westwood clinic. As a member of the interdisciplinary clinic team, the MHRS helps adults living with serious mental illness build skills and confidence to live more independent, connected, and meaningful lives. This hands-on, member-facing role focuses on recovery-oriented care and community impact. The MHRS leads psychosocial rehabilitation and life-skills groups, teaches illness self-management and independent living skills, and supports members’ community integration and vocational readiness. The MHRS also supports engagement by reaching out to members who are not engaged in care and documents rehabilitation services in a Medi-Cal-compliant manner. Amae Health is a venture-backed Public Benefit Corporation providing specialty outpatient care for people with severe mental illness through high-acuity, in-person clinics. Its integrated care model brings psychiatry, therapy, primary care, dietitians, and community support together.
