Psynergy Programs is a leading provider of residential treatment for chronic mental illness in California, partnering with 26 Counties and Mental Health Departments. We offer rehabilitation and specialty mental health services in an enriched residential environment, supported by adjoining outpatient clinics. We are seeking exceptional team members to maintain our high standards of care in both residential and clinical treatment.

Requirements

Full Vaccination against COVID-19 – CA required.
At least 8 years of Mental Health experience—combination of education and experience is okay.
Great attitude

Experience working in Mental Health or in residential care.
Qualifications, certifications, degrees including AA, BA, CAD-C earn more $$.

Responsibilities

Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to assist clients retain, practice, and learn new skills to prevent hospitalizations and stabilize housing.
Support clients through their individual recovery process and celebrate their successful transitions from treatment.
Work with a caseload of approximately 25 clients living in one residential setting.
Provide individual and group rehabilitation services.
Facilitate groups including Equine, DBT, CBT, DRA, Grief, and Loss.
Provide case management.
Link clients to outside community resources including ID, benefits, and outpatient appointments.
Conduct risk assessments.
Provide crisis intervention services.
Help clients develop healthy connections and activities.
Assist clients in maintaining a regular daily schedule of healthy activities.
Provide therapeutic support and redirection through verbal and non-verbal de-escalation techniques.
Provide behavioral interventions such as setting boundaries and providing redirection and support.
Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings.
Help clients safely access the community.
