About The Position

Centurion is seeking a part-time Mental Health Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive healthcare services to incarcerated patients at Maryville Treatment Center in Maryville, Missouri. The RN conducts health assessments, administers medications and treatments, provides patient education, documents care, and coordinates with the interdisciplinary team. The RN works with doctors, behavioral health professionals, and correctional staff to ensure patients have access to quality healthcare while incarcerated, and participates in and leads group classes for patients as needed. The position is scheduled Wednesday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., for 24 hours per week. Pay ranges from $37 to $45 per hour depending on years of experience, plus shift differentials. The listed benefits are offered to full-time team members.

Requirements

Missouri Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Associate degree.
Active certification in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Basic Life Support (BLS).
Ability to obtain a security clearance, including a drug screen and criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

Specialty training in psychiatric nursing preferred.
Corrections experience is not required.

Responsibilities
