About The Position

The Mental Health Professional (MHP) provides assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with mental health and co-occurring substance use disorders. This role delivers a blend of direct clinical services, psychoeducation, program facilitation, and interdisciplinary collaboration, while supporting patients, families, and teams across the continuum of care.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or related field
  • Fully licensed in the state you are practicing as a Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Counselor, Licensed Social Worker, or similar. CA: LP, LMFT, LCSW, LPCC
  • Minimum of 2 years freedom from substance use problems.
  • Current CPR Card or obtain within 30 days of hire
  • Certification must be from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
  • Individual National Provider Identification (NPI) number
  • Must be 18+ years of age

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Twelve Step treatment approaches and stages of recovery
  • Knowledge/training in addiction studies
  • Willingness to be licensed in other states
  • Spanish fluency
