About The Position

We are seeking a full-time clinician, specifically a community-based MST (Multisystemic Therapy) Clinician/Therapist, to provide mental health services in the community for youth and their families. This role follows the evidence-based MST model throughout different stages of treatment. Services are provided in program participants' homes and are geared towards serving youth who are in need of intensive community-based intervention, are at risk or have a history of out-of-home placement, and/or have community justice involvement. The position requires candidates to live locally, within 1 hour of the noted territory, provide therapy inside the family home, maintain a flexible, non-traditional schedule including evenings and weekends as needed, and regularly travel throughout the identified service territory.

Requirements

  • Master’s in social work (MSW), Mental Health Counseling (MHC), Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT), psychology, counseling, education, or other relevant human service profession preferred; required for site supervisor position.
  • Experience working with youth and families.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate effectively with individuals and families.
  • Qualified Professional
  • License Eligible (LMSW, LAPC, LAMFT)
  • Full License (LCSW, LPC, LMFT)
  • Live locally, within 1 hour of the noted territory.
  • Provide therapy inside the family home as a regular part of the position.
  • Maintain a flexible, non-traditional schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed, based on the availability of the youth and family.
  • Regularly travel throughout the full identified service territory to meet with families and provide services where needed.

Responsibilities

  • Carry a caseload as assigned.
  • Actively participate as part of a therapy team, including attending weekly team and individual supervision meetings.
  • Assist families by actively referring them to appropriate services and supports, and with both clinical and concrete services.
  • Make case progress notes as required.
  • Participate in all training, supervision, and consultation activities.
