About The Position

We are seeking a full-time clinician in Canton, GA to support the Cherokee County region. This position will involve providing community-based MST (Multisystemic Therapy) services to youth and their families, following an evidence-based model. Services are delivered in participants' homes and are designed for youth requiring intensive community-based intervention, those at risk or with a history of out-of-home placement, and/or those involved with the community justice system.

Requirements

• Master’s in social work (MSW), Mental Health Counseling (MHC), Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT), psychology, counseling, education, or other relevant human service profession preferred; required for site supervisor position.
• Experience working with youth and families.
• Good communication skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate effectively with individuals and families.

Responsibilities

• Carry a caseload as assigned.
• Actively participate as part of a therapy team, including attending weekly team and individual supervision meetings.
• Assist families by actively referring them to appropriate services and supports, and with both clinical and concrete services.
• Make case progress notes as required.
• Participate in all training, supervision, and consultation activities.
