About The Position

Arisa Health is seeking a Mental Health Professional to provide school-based services in Rogers. The position is full-time and exempt (salaried), with work hours Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. It reports to the Program Coordinator. The role involves assessing clients’ mental health needs and providing individual, family conjoint, and group therapy. The professional also documents and maintains clinical records and provides counseling and appraisal services to help individuals or groups understand personal problems, define goals, plan activities, and assess personal characteristics relevant to social concerns and educational progress. Arisa Health is a nonprofit behavioral health provider serving 41 Arkansas counties.

Requirements

Master’s degree in counseling or social work.
Current Arkansas license: LAC, LPC, LMSW, PLMSW, or LCSW.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to multitask.
Ability to work independently and as part of a treatment team.

Nice To Haves

Experience providing services in a behavioral health organization, community mental health organization, or healthcare organization.
Experience with elementary-aged clients is preferred.
Terminally licensed individuals are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Interview and assess clients for mental health needs.
Provide individual, family conjoint, and group therapy services.
Document, review, and maintain accurate case records and relevant clinical information.
Provide counseling and appraisal services to individuals or groups to support understanding of personal problems, goal-setting, and activity planning.
Assess individuals’ aptitudes, attitudes, abilities, achievements, interests, and personal characteristics as they relate to personal and social concerns and educational progress.
