About The Position

Arisa Health is seeking a Mental Health Professional to provide school-based services in Rogers. The role involves assessing clients’ mental health needs and providing individual, family conjoint, and group therapy, along with counseling and appraisal services that support personal development, goal setting, and educational progress. The position is full-time and salaried, works Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and reports to the Program Coordinator. Arisa Health is a nonprofit behavioral health provider serving 41 Arkansas counties.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in counseling or social work.
• Current Arkansas license: LAC, LPC, LMSW, PLMSW, or LCSW.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a treatment team.

Nice To Haves

• Experience providing services in a behavioral health organization or experience with a community mental health or healthcare organization.
• Experience with elementary-aged clients.
• Terminally licensed individuals are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Interview and assess clients for mental health needs.
• Provide individual, family conjoint, and group therapy services.
• Document, review, and maintain accurate case records and relevant clinical information.
• Provide counseling and appraisal services to individuals or groups to help them understand personal problems, define goals, and plan activities.
• Assess individuals’ aptitudes, attitudes, abilities, achievements, interests, and personal characteristics as they relate to personal and social concerns and educational progress.
