About The Position

Arisa Health is seeking a Mental Health Professional II to join its Springhill Clinic in North Little Rock, Arkansas. The role provides mental health assessment, counseling, and therapy services to individuals and groups. It is a full-time, exempt (salaried) hybrid position offering a mix of onsite and remote work, with hours Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The position reports to the Program Coordinator. Arisa Health is Arkansas’ largest and most comprehensive nonprofit behavioral health provider, formed through the affiliation of four Arkansas community mental health centers. It provides outpatient, crisis and emergency screening, substance abuse counseling, intensive children’s and adult services, medical services, and residential services across 41 Arkansas counties. Requirements

Master’s degree in counseling or social work.
Current Arkansas license as an LPC or LCSW.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to multitask.
Ability to work independently and as part of a treatment team.
Experience providing services in a behavioral health organization, community mental health organization, or healthcare organization is described as ideal.

Responsibilities

Interview and assess clients for mental health needs.
Provide individual, family, and group therapy services.
Document, review, and maintain accurate case records and relevant clinical information.
Provide counseling and appraisal services to individuals or groups to help them understand personal problems and define goals.
Plan activities to assess individuals’ aptitudes, attitudes, abilities, achievements, interests, and personal characteristics in relation to personal and social concerns and educational progress.
