About The Position
Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Illinois Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a full-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Logan Correctional Facility located in Lincoln, Illinois. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner provides mental health/psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients under the clinical direction of a psychiatrist and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team in providing mental health services to patients in a correctional setting.
Requirements
- 24 months of prior full-time Psych NP experience required
- Active, unrestricted IL APRN license
- Active, unrestricted DEA
- Must be able to pass background screening and credentialing
Responsibilities
- Provides mental health/psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients under the clinical direction of a psychiatrist.
- Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team in providing mental health services to patients in a correctional setting.
