The LVN / LPT is responsible for providing direct client care, including medication administration and supervising the nursing activities of unit staff. Key duties include ordering, preparing, and documenting medications according to physician orders and confirming pharmacy deliveries. The role also requires communicating important information to the team, writing weekly client summaries as assigned, and maintaining accurate nursing documentation throughout the shift. This position also performs other related duties as needed. Program: The Valley Star Crisis Walk-In Center (CWIC) is voluntary and offered on a 24/7 basis in an unlocked setting with a stay of up to 23 hours. The population served includes all age groups – children, adolescents, adults, and older adults – who need immediate access to crisis mental health services. The center provides rapid mental health assessment and crisis intervention, and important services to those in need of immediate crisis intervention and stabilization. Individuals admitted into the crisis stabilization unit will be provided with support and services to ensure their safe transition to the next level of care or back to the community.
