LVN / LPT
About The Position
The LVN / LPT provides direct client care including medications and basic medical intervention and education, following standard nursing practices. This role is part of the Acacia Mental Health Rehabilitation Center, serving adults (Ages 18–64) with severe mental health challenges that have required placement in a state hospital or other intensive behavioral health setting. The facility is a 16-bed inpatient rehabilitation facility offering comprehensive behavioral health and psychiatric services delivered by a multidisciplinary team, focusing on independent living skills development, self-sufficiency training, and transition planning for community re-entry.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of licensed vocational nursing or psychiatric technology required.
- One (1) year working as a nurse/psych tech in a behavioral health field.
- One (1) year medication administration experience required.
- Valid California LVN or an LPT license.
- Current CPR and first aid certification.
