About The Position

The LVN / LPT provides direct client care including medications and basic medical intervention and education, following standard nursing practices. This role is part of the Capital Star Crisis Residential Program, serving at-risk Transition-Age Youth (TAY) in a 24/7 Voluntary Residential Facility. The program offers individual therapy, group rehabilitation, medication management, and clinical case management, with an extended residential treatment timeline.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited school of licensed vocational nursing or psychiatric technology required.
  • One (1) year service experience working as a nurse in a behavioral health field
  • One (1) year medication administration experience required.
  • Valid California LVN or LPT license.
  • Current CPR certification.
